Jordan has enjoyed an almost 40-year career in marketing research, the last 23 years with Ipsos.
Starting with a degree in Urban Planning (U of Waterloo) and an MBA (U of Toronto), he built his expertise working with a very wide range of government, business and not-for-profit clients as both a qualitative and quantitative researcher and consultant. Today he is team leader in Ipsos’ market understanding and motivation modelling group.
Jordan has played a prominent role in Canada’s marketing research industry, serving as president of the national professional association (PMRS, 2000/2001) and on countless industry committees, teaching professional development courses and lecturing at local universities. He is a co-author of Practical Marketing Research, the definitive guidebook for marketing insights and now serves on the CAIP Canada Board of Examiners.
Jordan is an avid skier and rower and tri-lingual world traveler.
