Experienced Practitioner Pathway for Certification Spring Deadline – April 24th, 2026

CAIP Canada, the association of Canada’s Certified Analytics and Insights Professionals, is pleased to announce the launch of the Experienced Practitioner Pathway, designed for seasoned professionals in the research, analytics, and insights sectors.  This pathway acknowledges the capability of industry leaders to apply for their CAIP accreditation without the need to take the standard exam.

 What is required?

Candidates will have at least twenty years of relevant experience and demonstrate their leadership in the research, analytics, and insights industry.

They will:

• Successfully complete the online CAIP Canada Ethics and Standards course;
• Agree to adhere to CAIP Canada Standards;
• Submit a detailed CV showcasing CAIP Canada’s enabling and technical competencies; (Enabling Competencies, Technical Competencies, “Professional and Ethical Practice” competencies)
• Provide a written submission reflecting on their mastery of competencies and their insights into challenges and opportunities facing the industry; and
• Include two Canadian references, with at least one holding the CAIP certification.

Application process

• • CAIP Canada will invite online submissions twice per year, in June and December.
  • An evaluation committee will help ensure a thorough and fair review process.
  • The application fee is $850, which includes a non-refundable processing fee of $500. The annual membership fee of $350 is refundable if the application is unsuccessful.
