Jordan has been a marketing research practitioner for four decades, including over 20 years in a senior leadership role with Ipsos. Starting with a degree in Urban Planning (U of Waterloo) and an MBA (U of Toronto), he built his expertise partnering with clients from virtually all sectors of endeavor – government, business and not-for-profit – to help them understand their marketplace and to guide them in making strategic direction, brand positioning and innovation decisions. His work has covered all facets of practice, both qualitative and quantitative, including their transformation into today’s leading edge, digital applications.

Jordan has played a prominent role in Canada’s marketing research industry, as President of the national professional association (PMRS), as a founding Board Member of CAIP Canada, on countless industry committees, and as a regular Conference MC.  He is a long-term instructor for the industry’s professional development courses, a frequent guest lecturer at local universities and colleges and a co-author of Practical Marketing Research, the definitive guidebook for marketing insights.  He currently serves on the CAIP Canada Board of Examiners.

Jordan is an avid skier and rower, and a tri-lingual world traveler.
